Working together

Acupuncture alongside your doctor's plan

Your OB or reproductive doctor makes the medical plan. We fit around it. That means we ask for your clinic's calendar, we ask what you take, and we leave tests, medicines and procedures with your doctor.

You don't need a note from your doctor to book. If your clinic gave you one, or gave you instructions, bring it.

Four steps, with you in charge

  1. 01

Step 1: You tell us the plan

Appointment days, procedures, and where you are in a cycle, in your own words or from a note your clinic gave you.

  2. 02

Step 2: You decide what we share

We send nothing to your doctor's office without your written okay. You can change your mind at any time.

  3. 03

Step 3: We time your visits

We choose visit days around your clinic's calendar and keep visits short and quiet on a procedure day.

  4. 04

Step 4: We send a note back, if you ask

A short note on what we did, to the office you name. We don't change your doctor's plan, and we don't suggest changes to it.

What to bring

The list for your first visit

Your doctor's office has most of this ready. Bring what you can, and we will work with what you have.

  • Your medicines and supplements, with doses, or a photo of each label.
  • The name and phone number of your doctor's office.
  • Your doctor's calendar for the next few weeks, if you have it.
  • Any instructions from your clinic about what to avoid.
  • A note from your doctor, if they offered one.
  • Your written okay, if you want us to send a note back.

A privacy note

What stays private

We keep your records private and share them only as the law allows. This website doesn't ask for health details: the form here takes your name, how to reach you and a short message. Your health history goes on our intake form after you book.

If your visit is private, tell us how we may contact you, and we will use only that way: a call, a text or an email.

Questions about working with your doctor

Will you change my treatment plan?

No. We don't prescribe, stop or change anything your doctor set. If we have a concern, we tell you, and you decide whether to raise it with your doctor.

Can my doctor call you?

Yes, once you have signed the written okay. Without it we can't confirm that you are a patient.

What if my plan changes mid-cycle?

Tell us as soon as you hear, by phone. We move visits and change what we do.
